Common symptoms of worn transfer pump and fuel/vacuum leak:
- Prolonged engine cranking while start up or not starting at all
- Slow / delayed throttle response
- Power loss
- Engine is not trying to pull harder when full throttle is applied
- In some cases engine runs very smooth, because of the lowered transfer pump pressure
- Engine may die when left to idle.
